Constant-speed ramps for a central force field

چکیده
We investigate the problem of determining planar curves that describe ramps where a particle mass \begin{document}$ m $\end{document} moves with constant-speed when is subject to action friction force and whose magnitude id="M2">\begin{document}$ F(r) depends only on distance id="M3">\begin{document}$ r from origin. In this paper we all for case id="M4">\begin{document}$ = -m/r $\end{document}. We show circles logarithmic spirals play an important role. Not they are solutions but every other solution approaches either circle or spiral.

Obstacle avoidance for an autonomous vehicle using force field method
This paper presents a force field concept for guiding a vehicle at a high speed maneuver. This method is similar to potential field method. In this paper, motion constrains like vehicles velocity, distance to obstacle and tire conditions and such lane change conditions as zero slop condition and zero lateral acceleration are discussed. After that, possible equations as vehicles path ar...
متن کاملFunctional Speed Reserve as a Proxy for the Anaerobic Speed Reserve Using the Critical Speed Concept
Background: Although maximal sprint speed (MSS) and the anaerobic speed reserve (ASR) provides valuable information about the speed profile of athletes, these parameters fall short of providing important information about sub-maximal metabolic thresholds. The only field test that can offer an estimate of a sub-maximal metabolic threshold is the 3-minute all-out test for running (3MT) which deli...
متن کاملForce-feedback High-speed Atomic Force Microscope
High-speed atomic force microscopy (HSAFM) has enabled researchers to view the nanometer-scale dynamic behavior of individual biological and bio-relevant molecules at a molecular-level resolution under physiologically relevant time scales, which is the realization of a dream in life sciences. These high-speed imaging applications now extend to the cellular/bacterial systems with the use of a sm...
متن کاملA molecular mechanics force field for lignin
A CHARMM molecular mechanics force field for lignin is derived. Parameterization is based on reproducing quantum mechanical data of model compounds. Partial atomic charges are derived using the RESP electrostatic potential fitting method supplemented by the examination of methoxybenzene:water interactions. Dihedral parameters are optimized by fitting to critical rotational potentials and bonded...
